Stable gas prices in SC, across the nation may indicate trouble on the horizon

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – Gas prices are holding steady for another week in South Carolina and declines are popping up across the country, something experts warn may not be a good sign.

The average price of gas in the state has dropped 0.3 cents per gallon for the second week, with the average price per gallon sitting still at $2.67, according to GasBuddy’s survey of over 3,000 stations in South Carolina.

These prices are 13.8 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and 54.9 cents per gallon lower than a year ago…
