Grand Strand’s homeless population is large, growing, charity says

CONWAY, S.C. (WPDE) — Homelessness can happen to anyone. That’s why ABC15’s parent company Sinclair Broadcast Group has joined forces with The Salvation Army to launch a nationwide initiative to raise awareness about homelessness and to highlight some of the charity’s services.

The Salvation Army is an international church and charity, operating in 134 countries offering services like food, shelter, disaster relief and social services.
