LORIS, S.C. (WMBF) – A Loris family says they’re thankful to be alive after their home caught fire last week.
The Scully family said they saw the heavy smoke and flames coming from their attic area Friday night. The family told WMBF News they think the fire was burning for a while before they evacuated.
“I was on the couch and my fiancé was playing video games. We started to smell something, thinking people were burning something outside. We didn’t think much of it,” said Dana Scully.
