Man pleads guilty to drug charges after chase in Horry County

HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – A North Carolina man is heading to prison on drug charges.

The 15th Circuit Solicitor’s Office said that Ryan Davenport, 41, of Tabor City, N.C., pleaded guilty on Monday to second offense possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, second offense possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine and failure to stop for blue lights.

A judge then gave Davenport a 10-year concurrent sentence. The solicitor’s office added that Davenport was previously convicted of narcotic offenses multiple times in the past.
