LONGS, S.C. (WBTV) – A South Carolina state trooper was arrested over the weekend after he allegedly got into a fight at a grocery store.
Sister-station WMBF reported that Rashaad Chestnut — who works for the South Carolina Highway Patrol — punched a man in the parking lot of an IGA grocery store in Horry County early Saturday morning.
A police report obtained by WMBF revealed that the victim claimed Chestnut punched him, and that he only defended himself. However, Chestnut told police that the victim started the fight, and that he cut him off in traffic and pulled a gun…
