A festival that has become a favorite and popular tradition in Sunset Beach , which benefits the Old Bridge Historical Society, will be held on the fourth Sunday in April.
The 11th annual Strawberry and Wine Fest will feature the star of the festival: Large, luscious, ruby red strawberries.
What’s happening?
The Old Bridge Historical Society will host the festival on Sunday, April 27 from noon to 5 p.m. at Sunset Beach Town Park along the Intracoastal Waterway at 206 Sunset Blvd. North, Sunset Beach. Visitors can picnic under the trees while enjoying music by a local band. The festival will be held rain or shine.
Food/drinks
- Available on site for sale will be hot dogs with all the fixings, chili dogs, barbecue, water and soda.
- The Old Bridge Society’s booth will make their festival favorite ― fresh, luscious strawberry shortcakes served with whipped cream.
- For grab-and-go, local vendors on site will be Blondiez Donuts, Dixieland Kettle Corn and the Old South Pretzel Company.
- Heritage Fresh Market will have freshly-picked quarts of strawberries for sale.
- There will be wine tables with wines available from Silver Coast Winery and Noni Bacca Winery. Makai Brewing Company, Ocean Isle Beach and Waterline Brewing Company in Wilmington will have specialty craft beers for sale. In honor of the festival, Waterline Brewing will be pouring a limited production Strawberry Hibiscus Hefeweizen.

Mike’s Garage Band, a local favorite and a “band for the ages” will play music that focuses mostly on the tunes the band members grew up with ― classic soul and rock.
Vendor Village
- Strawberry-themed merchandise and food.
- Artisans ― pottery, art, jewelry, home decor, fabric and fashion creations, hand-turned wood creations, stained glass, baskets, hand blown glass, rugs, gourds, and wreaths.

- Seasonings, honey, syrups for beverages, teas, oils and vinegars.
- To pamper yourself, vendors will be offering skin care products and fragrances for yourself and for your home.
Admission
A suggested $5 donation per person includes a chance to participate in the vendor drawing. All proceeds go to benefit the nonprofit Old Bridge Historical Society which helps to preserve and share the history of the Old Bridge and the Sunset Beach area…
