MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW)– A chance for showers and thunderstorms continues this evening. The scattered showers will be very hit-or-miss along the Grand Strand, most of the Pee Dee looks to stay mainly dry into the overnight hours. There is a possibility for thunderstorms, damaging winds, and small hail, thus the Marginal Risk for severe weather remains in effect. Temperatures cool tonight, when you are heading off to work or school in the morning lows will be into the mid-60s inland and upper-50s at the beaches.
Monday we warm to near normal highs, with the Pee Dee reaching the lower-80s and the Grand Strand in the upper-70s. We dry up for Tuesday, with another round of scattered showers midweek. We can expect a similar system compared to this weekend, with off-and-on spotty chances come Wednesday. There will still be plenty of dry periods mixed in with the rain. Temperatures will stay near normal through the week, with a slight cool down for your next weekend…
