Public input sought in meetings for Highway 22 Extension Project

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) — The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is holding a series of public meetings for the South Carolina Highway 22 Extension Project in Horry County.

This is part of the RIDE 4 program, according to Horry County Government.

Officials said this new roadway would “provide congestion relief, improve hurricane evacuation and improve access to needed services east and west of the Waccamaw River.”…
