HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — A lightning strike is to blame for a small fire in the roof area of a Carolina Forest home, authorities said.
It happened just before 6:30 p.m. on Starlit Way. One person was displaced, and officials said the incident was under control by 9 p.m.
