MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — One month after Myrtle Beach’s deadly officer-involved shooting on Ocean Boulevard, a national civil rights leader is demanding more transparency from the city’s police department.
“We’ve sent a lot of questions to the chief. We’ve been trying to meet with her diligently for the past two weeks,” John Barnett of the 17-state coalition True Healing Under God said at a Tuesday news conference.
