Man pulls out gun, strangles girlfriend after she refuses to give him her phone, HCPD says

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) — Zuri Keche Phifer, 26, was arrested on Thursday for second-degree domestic violence, kidnapping, and pointing a firearm at a person, according to the Horry County Police Department (HCPD).

An HCPD incident report said Phifer and his girlfriend were at a home on Harrison Mill Street when he asked to see her phone. At which point, the victim, Phifer’s girlfriend, refused to hand over the device.

She told officers that Phifer became angry and pushed her into the front bedroom of their home…
