Protesters gather ahead of Stephen Stanko’s execution

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WACH) — Protesters have begun lining the road outside Broad River Correctional Institution ahead of the scheduled execution of 57-year-old Stephen Stanko.

On Friday, the state of South Carolina is set to execute the convicted double murderer for the 2005 killings of Laura Ling and Henry Lee Turner in Horry and Georgetown Counties.
