18-year-old wounded in Myrtle Beach shooting allegedly fired 4 times at man during argument, documents show

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — An 18-year-old who was wounded last week in a shooting near Peaches Corner on N. Ocean Boulevard remained in jail on Monday, according to jail and court records.

Te’Quarious Barrett, who was booked into the J. Reuben Long Detention Center on Sunday, is the fifth person charged in the shooting, which police said happened at about 11:50 p.m. Thursday near the intersection of 9th Avenue N. and N. Ocean Boulevard. He is being held on a $200,000 bond after being charged with first-degree assault and battery. The others charged include two adults and two juveniles.
