MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) -We’re giving you the FIRST ALERT to a small chance of development near the southeast coast this week.
It’s important to note that this chance of development remains LOW.
A frontal boundary is expected to stall and weaken off the southeast U.S. coast late this week. An area of low pressure could develop from the weakening front by this weekend off the Southeast coast, over Florida or over the eastern Gulf.
There are a few scenarios that show some gradual tropical or subtropical development could occur thereafter as the low moves little.
Even if development were to happen, this system would remain weak and mainly be a rain maker for those nearby…
