CONWAY, S.C. (WBTW) — A swearing-in ceremony was held Tuesday for Horry County Summary Court Judge Angela Brown.
Brown, an Horry County native, was sworn-in at noon on Tuesday. She graduated from North Myrtle Beach High School in 1992 and received her bachelor of science in sociology with a minor in criminal justice from Charleston Southern University.
Brown has worked with the Horry County Sheriff’s Office for the past 26 years and has been the director of victim services at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center.
