MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — The city of Myrtle Beach’s temporary curfew change for those 17 and younger — which ends Monday and was implemented in the wake of recent gun violence on Ocean Boulevard — drew mixed reviews from local businesses.
The temporary curfew started July 2 and was from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., as opposed to the already existing ordinance of juvenile curfew from midnight to 6 a.m.
Workers on the boulevard, who wanted to remain anonymous, said the curfew was a huge help over the 4th of July weekend. Though they feel the curfew wouldn’t necessarily take away all the violence, they feel it would help…
