Man accused of hitting pedestrian, driving away in Myrtle Beach

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) – Myrtle Beach police arrested a man for a hit and run after they said he ran over a pedestrian with his truck and drove away.

Myrtle Beach police responded to a call Tuesday around 1 a.m. on South Ocean Boulevard for an accident involving a pedestrian.

Officers learned the accident occurred on Kings Highway, where Michael Poole allegedly ran over a pedestrian and then drove away to his home at Ocean Lakes Campground…
