Student urges Myrtle Beach to ban single-use plastic bags at city council meeting

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WPDE) — One Coastal Carolina University (CCU) student urged Myrtle Beach to ban single-use plastic bags during a meeting Tuesday.

CCU senior Alex Gaspar addressed the city council and cited environmental concerns.
