MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) – Two men are facing over a dozen charges together after police found them with thousands of stolen checks.
Calls of a suspicious vehicle at the Comfort Suites on Frontage Road East led police to investigate. The warrants state that one of the people inside the car opened the door to talk to police, and a strong smell of marijuana was detected, leading to a search.
The police search uncovered 22 checks, not belonging to either suspect, written from two Myrtle Beach businesses, totalling $473,125.63…
