Chance of storms increasing

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) – A very typical Carolina summer weather pattern has set up across the area. We will continue to see that through the overnight hours. A few more clouds move in overnight, and lasting through the morning. Lows will be very warm and muggy. Lows falling into the mid to upper 70s.

Wednesday we will see better coverage for more widespread thunderstorm activity across the area. We will see showers and storms move into the area as early as mid to late morning along the coast. These will continue to be scattered throughout the day. So now wash out, but you may have to dash inside with the storms move through the area. These storms will likely produce some localized heavy rain, and lightning. Highs will warm into the upper 80s along the coast. Inland we mange to make it into the low 90s.

As we head into Wednesday, through the rest of the work week, the weather pattern become quitter. High pressure will set up shop, that will help amp our temperatures up, and keep the majority of storm chances away. Highs through the end of the week will be well into the mid to upper 90s inland. Low 90s along the coast…
