Influx of transplants driving up Myrtle Beach housing costs, broker says

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW )– If you’re looking to buy a home in Myrtle Beach, you’re not alone. As out-of-state transplants flock to the Grand Strand, one local real estate broker says it’s driving up housing costs.

“People are going to still be moving here. Home prices will still be going up and up,” said Joel Barber, a real estate broker with Advantage Agents Group in Myrtle Beach.
