HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — A man is facing charges after allegedly possessing a pipe bomb and multiple explosive devices, according to Horry County police records.
Jeremy Vickery, 40, of Myrtle Beach, has been charged with possessing, manufacturing or transporting a destructive device or explosive. He was initially booked into the J. Reuben Long Detention Center on Sunday on a breach of trust charge.
An Horry County officer responded at about 3 p.m. Tuesday to Bayhill Street in the Carolina Forest area , a police report shows. A woman told the officer she had picked up Vickery’s belongings at about 9:30 p.m. Sunday from a Myrtle Beach campground because he had been arrested. She said a maintenance person there had texted her earlier that day, asking her to get Vickery’s things or else they would be discarded…
