HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) — Some community members voiced concern after the Horry County School District (HCSD) updated its attendance policy for the 2025-2026 school year.
Instead of students being allowed six absences excused by the principal, they will now be allowed six parent-excused absences.
