Pedaling pubs could be on the way to the streets of Horry County.
Representatives with Pedal Pub, a franchise with bikes across North America, presented the business model to Conway leaders on Monday, July 21, in hopes of bringing the operation to the downtown district, as well as Myrtle Beach.
“We see a downtown that has a lot of synergy with bars, breweries; it’s a growing town,” said Jake Halbert, president of Pedal Pub. “We just feel like it’s a good fit. We’re looking to open in Myrtle Beach, so we feel that it would be great in Conway and Myrtle.”
The company hopes to start with one bike in Conway and two in Myrtle Beach…
