Conway’s plan to transform old coal plant into vibrant waterfront

CONWAY, S.C. (WPDE) — This week, the city of Conway took their first formal vote to annex more than 200 acres of the old Santee Cooper Grainger Power Plant into city limits.

That vote has been in the making for more than three years for City Administrator Adam Emrick.
