SURFSIDE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — Oxford Children’s Academy cut the ribbon Thursday for its new Surfside Beach location four months after the sudden closure of its Carolina Forest location.
The day care initially cited “unforeseen circumstances” as the reason for the closure, but assistant director Amanda Reynolds clarified on Thursday the landlord did not renew the lease for their Renee Drive building.
“We’re very, very excited to be opening here in Surfside. It was a hard road to get here,” Reynolds said. “We’re just very excited that things came together and we were able to find a new location and get back in business.”…
