Stifling heat and humidity have blanketed the Myrtle Beach area for the past week, and the next few days are expected to be no different.
High temperatures are likely to continue at least through the middle of this week, the National Weather Service projects. A cold front is on its way down into the region to bring a period of cooler, less humid weather, but it isn’t expected to arrive until the weekend.
