HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — Crews removed a submerged SUV from a retention pond in Horry County late Thursday morning.
Horry County Fire Rescue was dispatched at 11:09 a.m. to the pond near Bellaria Way and found the fully submered SUV in the pond. A dive team confirmed that no one was in the SUV and hooked up a line so it could be towed from the pond.
No additional information was immediately available. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating.
