A man was booked into J. Reuben Long Detention Center early Friday morning for a parking dispute that allegedly led to shots fired in an attempted murder.
Timoteo Sanchez, 26, of Guatemala allegedly fired shots during an argument over parking in Myrtle Beach that police say could have resulted in injury or death, according to his arrest warrant. Myrtle Beach police were called to the scene of the dispute on July 30 at about 7 p.m.
The incident took place at 1213 Ellington St., when a verbal altercation escalated and Sanchez allegedly retrieved a firearm and fired “multiple rounds” in the direction of the victim. Sanchez is facing a total $85,000 in bond for attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime, according to jail records. He remains incarcerated…
