Myrtle Beach historic landmark honors original owners by helping today’s entrepreneurs

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — Some Myrtle Beach residents might not know of a time or place where Black entertainers and patrons couldn’t simply stay in any hotel.

Today, you can take a tour of Charlie’s Place, where those Black entertainers stayed. It is rich in culture and history, and it is right here in Myrtle Beach.
