If you missed the filming of the popular TV series “Outer Banks” in the Myrtle Beach area in July, don’t worry – fans will get another chance to see the action Aug. 14.
The Netflix drama began filming a scene on the Socastee Swing Bridge July 29, 2025, but the set was eventually shut down after thunderstorms rolled through the area. The bridge was closed for the filming.
The Socastee bridge over the Intracoastal Waterway will once again close on Aug. 14 for filming, according to the South Carolina Department of Transportation. It is not clear when the bridge will close, but it will not reopen until Aug. 15, according to a release…
