David Pascoe teases run for S.C. attorney general while in Surfside Beach

Long-time Solicitor David Pascoe hinted at a possible bid for South Carolina attorney general while speaking at the DOGESC kickoff event in Surfside Beach.

Pascoe, who has served as solicitor for the First Circuit — which includes Dorchester, Calhoun and Orangeburg counties — for 20 years says “South Carolina has a system that cultivates a selfish government, cronyism and corruption.”

Pascoe has made a name for himself in the Palmetto State over the past two decades, especially by investigating and helping secure convictions of five powerful state legislators on corruption charges…
