A waterspout was captured on camera by WPDE viewers this afternoon as showers and storms moved ashore amidst a soggy Sunday.
The spout tossed around beach umbrellas and belongings but have caused no significant damage.
That being said, if you see a waterspout offshore and it is coming ashore, treat it as a tornado and take shelter! Even if they appear weak, waterspouts can cause damage and toss debris in the air…
