BUCKSPORT, S.C. (WBTV) – A low-magnitude earthquake shook the Myrtle Beach area this past weekend, data showed.
Data from the United States Geological Survey (USGS) showed that a 1.9-magnitude earthquake hit close to the South Carolina coast around 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 9.
The quake was felt in both Conway and Myrtle Beach, although nothing more than weak shaking was reported…
