CONWAY, S.C. (WBTW)—The Waccamaw River has now reached a moderate flood stage, with water levels expected to crest at 12.6 feet by Tuesday, flooding areas from the North Carolina state line to Conway.
After three to four weeks of excessive rainfall, the water level has been slowly rising, pushing water over roadways and into lower lying areas like the Conway Riverwalk.
State officials have shut down several roads in Conway including Lee’s Landing Circle, River Road, Cypress Knee Court and a few others…
