Horry County police investigate after tip about treatment of 30+ dogs

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — An investigation is underway and charges are expected after Horry County police received a tip from a public safety partner about the care and treatment of 30+ dogs, the agency said on Facebook.

Authorities are conducting the investigation in the Conway area. HCPD said the Horry County Animal Care Center will need to open up space because of the investigation.

Anyone interested in assisting the animals are asked to visit the shelter to foster or adopt one of the pets currently in ACC care. The shelter opens at 10:30 a.m…
