With 300% capacity, Horry County Animal Care Center seeks foster families

HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) -The HCACC is asking community members to consider fostering or adopting animals, as an animal-related investigation in Conway led to the seizure of over 30 dogs on Thursday.

The HCACC says animals involved in prior investigations have stayed in the shelter for as long as a year and a half.

The center told WMBF it costs about $12.50 a day to shelter a single dog, and the costs to care for all the animals can rack up…
