Sol Cocina Mexicana to Open in Myrtle Beach’s Surfside Neighborhood

A new Mexican restaurant is coming to Myrtle Beach’s Surfside neighborhood.

Sol Cocina Mexicana is set to open at 4100 Holmestown Road, Unit 4, according to the Horry County Zoning Board of Appeals.

On August 11, the board reviewed a request from Sol Cocina Mexicana to serve alcohol inside its new restaurant and bar at the Tiffany Park Commercial Center in the Holmestown Center. Built in 2020, the center’s location sits closer than the normally required 500 feet from nearby homes. The site borders a single-family house on one side and townhomes to the rear.
