Ocean swimmer hurt in ‘marine life incident’ on beach in Myrtle Beach

A person was injured Friday in what Myrtle Beach rescue crews are calling a “marine life incident.”

Myrtle Beach Fire crews responded to 14th Avenue North on the beach about 1:30 p.m. where they found a man injured, according to a text from Capt. Jonathan Evans.

Evans said the patient was treated and then transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries…
