ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) — A Myrtle Beach man is behind bars after he allegedly made a false 911 call about an Upstate high school to divert authorities from a bank robbery.
Brian Humphries, 44, allegedly robbed the Dogwood State Park Bank on Clemson Boulevard on Tuesday. He’s also charged with making a hoax emergency call and operating a counterfeit money scheme.
The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office quickly responded to the bank robbery, deploying multiple resources, including K9 units and drone operators, to track down the suspect. Surveillance photos confirmed Humphries’s identity, leading to his capture on Clemson Boulevard shortly after the robbery…
