MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) – It was a hot one today across the area. High temperatures made it into the low to mid 90s across the Pee Dee and border belt. Along the coast highs pushed into the mid to upper 80s. Tonight we will see lows falling into the low to mid 70s. A little patchy fog will possible as well.
A cold front will move into the area on Sunday afternoon. It will bring some showers and possible some thunderstorms. Right now, any storms looks to remain below severe limits. We need some rain, but doesn’t look like we will get any substantial rain. Highs will warm into the mid 80s across the area. Lows will fall into the upper 60s to low 70s as the front pushes through the area.
The forementioned cold front will stall just off the coast. That will keep clouds and potentially a few showers in the area Monday through Wednesday. The best chance of seeing shower and storm coverage will be Tuesday and Wednesday…
