MURRELLS INLET, S.C. (WBTW) — Murrells Inlet residents filled an Horry County meeting Monday evening to say no to a proposed psychiatric hospital, steps from their homes.
It would be located near McDowell Shortcut Road off Highway 707 and the Massuchusetts originated company would serve both Horry and Georgetown counties.
The Zoning Board of Appeals ultimately voted unanimously against the hospital but not without being heard from both residents and the CEO of the hospital…
