Conway man sentenced to prison after meth distribution conviction

CONWAY, S.C. (WBTW) — A Conway man was convicted of a drug charge last week and sentenced to more than a decade in prison, the 15th Circuit Solicitor’s Office said.

Mack Allen Davis, 52, was convicted of a third offense of distribution of methamphetamine. He was convicted on Friday after a three-day trial and sentenced to 14 years in prison by Circuit Court Judge Benjamin Culbertson.

Davis is not eligible for parole, according to the solicitor’s office, and because his conviction is classified as a serious offense, it counts as one “strike” under South Carolina’s “Three Strike” law…
