HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — A man wanted for parole violations in New York was arrested on Saturday after barricading himself inside a Carolina Forest home, according to an Horry County police report released on Friday.
Adell Fuquan Zeigler, 31, of Fayetteville, North Carolina, was arrested after a SWAT team found him hiding underneath some insulation in the attic of the home on E. Walkerton Road, the report said. He was taken to the J. Reuben Long Detention Center to await extradition to New York.
Horry County police responded to the home at about 6:30 a.m. after a “weapons incident.” The report said Zeigler had barricaded himself inside the home but was taken into custody at about 8:30 a.m. after authorities used “callouts and gas deployments” to enter the home…
