Coastal Carolina head coach Tim Beck is sticking with redshirt sophomore quarterback Tad Hudson for a second straight game as the Chanticleers look for more offensive production at South Alabama on Saturday night, and Beck addressed his job security this week.
The Chanticleers have been underwhelming while going 1-2 and being outscored 86-20 this season in losses to Virginia and East Carolina and a win over Charleston Southern.
Beck is 15-14 in his two-plus seasons at CCU, with records of 8-5 in 2023 and 6-7 last season after the Chants went 31-7 from 2020-22 under head coach Jamey Chadwell, who left for Liberty following the 2022 regular season.
