WPDE — Several cities and counties along the Grand Strand are going back to normal as Imelda’s route continues towards the sea, away from the Carolinas.
HORRY COUNTY:
Horry County had initially declared a localized state of emergency on Friday to “adopt emergency ordinances to meet public emergencies affecting life, health, safety, or the property of the people in our area.”
As of 8 a.m. on Sunday, they have returned to OPCON 3, which is normal daily operations.
