Confidence continues to increase that Tropical Storm Imelda will miss the Myrtle Beach area shore with limited impacts to the Grand Strand, according to the National Weather Service.
The primary threat the storm currently poses is hazardous maritime conditions beginning Monday that is likely to cause rough surf/rip currents, the NWS reports, with minor potential for flooding through Tuesday in low-lying areas along the coast.
