Myrtle Beach man pleads guilty, sentenced for drug, gun charges

CONWAY, S.C. (WBTW) — A Myrtle Beach man pleaded guilty on Monday and was sentenced to more than a decade in prison for drug distribution and gun charges, according to the 15th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.

Richard Antonio Quick, 45, pleaded guilty to a second offense of crack cocaine distribution, a second offense of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, and possession of a firearm by a person convicted of drug charges. Circuit Court Judge Michael G. Nettles sentenced Quick to 12 years in prison.

In 2024, Myrtle Beach police conducted a controlled buy, where Quick sold crack cocaine to a confidential informant, the solicitor’s office said. After the sale, officers searched Quick’s home, where they found methamphetamine, a gun, numerous cellphones, and other illegal substances…
