Stepping in time with the Carolina Rhythm Tap Ensemble

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (InvestigateTV) — The strike of metal taps on the studio floor creates a rhythmic sound that has Michele Selvanto-Kowalski excited about her retirement years, as she helps adult women rediscover a passion they thought they’d left behind.

“I get chills when I teach it. I get chills when I talk about it,” said Selvanto-Kowalski, who spent more than 45 years teaching tap dance in New Jersey before moving to Myrtle Beach in 2014.
