MB Police discover man is Tennessee fugitive during assault arrest, report says

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) — While arresting a man for second-degree assault and battery in Myrtle Beach, police said they discovered Rasheen Greenwood was a wanted fugitive out of Tennessee.

According to an incident report, officers from the Myrtle Beach Police Department (MBPD) responded to a 911 call and hang up Sept. 18 around 10 p.m. near the Polynesian Hotel on South Ocean Boulevard.

Officers said they arrived and canvassed the area where the call was reportedly made from before they located a female victim on the fourth floor of the hotel…
